Across the Wire
According to the Baltimore Sun, Ravens cornerback Corey Fuller, a Florida State alum, swapped gunfire with an intruder at his Tallahassee home. Apparently around 2 AM, Fuller and a friend were confronted by a man wearing a mask and dressed in all black in Fuller's driveway. After Fuller had fled back into his house, the intruder broke into Fuller's house where he exchanged gunfire with one of Fuller's friends. Fuller then chased the intruder out of the house, bearing his .38 that he grabbed from his safe, and traded roughly 20 gunshots with the assailant. No one was harmed. The moral of the story? You gotta love FSU football players. I mean do things like this happen so frequently to players at/from any other university? ('Canes fans have an argument.) Just another part of why FSU/Miami is the best game of the football season every year.
